Description The Thomastik Dominant Cello string set is used widely across the world. Dominant cello strings have become renowned for the remarkably similar sound to gut strings and yet having the consistency and stability of a synthetic core string. They are wound with Chrome over a multi-strand synthetic core. The sound is full and warm yet rich in overtones. The Dominant cello string set is not affected by changes in temperature, remaining very stable. They are easily recognisable by their distinctive purple winding on the peg end.
