Disc/Disc Brake Proportioning Valve When upgrading to four wheel disc brakes it is often necessary to install a proportioning valve. This allows the proper amount of fluid to travel to the front and rear brakes, preventing the rear brakes from engaging more quickly than the front. At D and C Extreme, we offer a GM style universal combination proportioning valve for front and rear disc brakes.
