It is truly a complete, budget-friendly solution for videographers/cinematographers needing an RGB lighting solution. In a small package and affordable package you get to have a wireless 100W keylight or a full RGB accent light! Best of all you can control it through a fairly simple mobile app. It even comes with a starter reflector and a carrying casehe carrying case to hold everything you will need to bring this light to a location, and even has external straps so you can bring your stands and light modifiers too!The build quality is admittedly a bit plastic-y, but that provides the benefit in making the unit itself not overly heavy. The locks and joints are not the most sturdy and intuitive, but that is a small price to pay for a nice-looking, well designed RGB light. You have simple switches to ignite via wired or battery modes, and two knobs to traverse intensity of your light output or navigate the different lighting options. While in-use, the light is also very quiet so it won’t disrupt your filming even when you’re recording close to the light.The illumination itself is great. The 100W listed power output is more than enough for some simple talking head/small setup shoots even when shooting through different types of light modifiers. Since I only have 1 unit for now, I won’t be able to test the multiple light setup where you can control your lights in groups via the app, but as listed, you have limitless color options and some FX settings to use.Other tests have listed that with 2 NPF 70 batteries (the thicker ones), light can be pumped out for more than 2 hours! I feel that is reasonable particularly because you can always have the light wired. The lack of a battery meter and having to use 2 NPFs are features that definitely need to be addressed in future models and would be wonderful if they can keep it at this price point.Overall, it’s cheap, versatile and almost has everything you need in an all-in-one pro-sumer lighting solution. Apart from not including the NPF batteries in the package, the biggest complaint I have is I only have 1 of these for now! Have 2-3 of these in a home/small studio will have amazing flexibility in totally changing up the space with multiple color variations!
