For some reason I thought I wrote a review already, but I guess the product was so good I wrote a detailed review in my brain and never posted it. When I first found these Tupperware containers on Amazon the first word that comes to mind is, “relief”, for the price, the quantity was just what I needed, I had my fingers crossed in hopes that they would arrive exactly how I imagined they would be, Excelcior!! They did… In the past I’ve spent an arm and a leg for just seven days worth of bento boxes, that ultimately cracked and melted and were almost IMPOSSIBLE to fully clean. Not only is that not the “case” with these, (pun fully intended) being that there are 10 here enables me to Prep both breakfast and lunch when needed. The compartments are the perfect size and as far as the caps are concerned, they are indeed leakproof, as well as microwave proof. Meaning you don’t have to worry about sticking this thing in the microwave with the cap slightly on it just so the food heats up faster, and the container becoming deformed and its melting into a complete oblivion. The only complaint I’d have is when I clean it, it definitely comes clean as far as getting stains out of it that leaves behind oil‘s and other undesirable food bacteria, however it holds onto the scent of the dish soap. Which has always just made me feel a little uncomfortable. So I wash them, of course they have the scent of the dish soap in them no matter how hard i scrub, so. I take them and warm them up in the microwave with a little baking soda in it and pour it out into the sink and then clean it again with water and order to prepare my food next, I just don’t much like the idea of eating dish soap. Other than that I love this product! Highly recommend it very durable I’d say you could even take this camping if you wanted. Two thumbs up to the plastic molders at simple houseware!
