This is a solid, adjustable, lounger that is strong and stable. I view this more as a lounger than a cot, although it could certainly be used as a cot. I would opt for a better cot mattress and pillow if I were going to take more than an afternoon nap on this product.The bed surface is nice and taught, so if you need good back support, or have trouble getting off of a recliner low to the ground that has a lot of give to the surface, then you will probably like this product. On the other hand, if you want something that stretches a little and adjusts to the form of your body, then you might decide to look for something else.The mattress is comfortable enough for use as a reclining lounger, in fact I would personally not want any more cushion than what is provided. The material seems to be of good quality, and, if taken care of, should last for a long time.This lounger is well constructed and sturdy, so it is a bit heavier than those old style cheap aluminum recliners. This is probably something that you would want to set by your pool or under a gazebo more than something you would take to the beach, or on a short camping trip. That, unless you were going to use it as a cot, then it might be worth taking it along. For longer trips and times where you will be setting up camp for several days, then this lounger will certainly be a good glamping item to take along.
