The transfer switch that I received appears to be a quality product, and so far it does work well. The picture however, is very different from what I received. The proportional dimensions are different which altered how I thought it would fit in the cabinet for the breaker box. Unfortunately, I didn’t measure the transfer switch that I received to verify the dimensions listed in the description for this review, but the smaller area side in the picture is more of a square shape than an rectangle which makes it stick out much further from the mounting surface.There are flanges that allow you to screw mount it without opening the transfer switch enclosure. If you have the room to mount it, it works fine. My old transfer switch mounted to the back of the breaker box. The new transfer switch was too big to mount the same way, so had to get some ko romex clamps to run 10/2 romex between boxes.
