I had to return the first one but I am unsure if it was defective. It cleaned fine the first night then it would only turn on three seconds after that. I bought a brand new Dewalt battery and charge pack so I returned it for a new one. The new one works flawless and I wanted to give it another chance so had it replaced. I dont think my battery seated into it right after many tries. As i said though the new one works great..great suction perfect for the small room I live in to clean up the rug and laminated flooring. Glad I gave it a second shot it was worth it. Other vacuums are like 150 bucks and most are corded. This is a good deal and built by a dewalt sister company..thats why people buy it thinking its dewalt..basically it is just a cheaper version..and does what I need it to do without paying 150 for the vacuum and 75 for the battery and charger.Mind you this does NOT come with a battery as I failed to read it properly. I had to order the battery after the fact ,but It is still worth the money and works great. Just thought I would clarify that before peoplebought it. Yes i would buy it again..since I got the new one a month ago been using it to vaccuum the car..the couches and everything else does a better job than most full vaccuums ive had in my life lol :POne last verification.
