At 12 bucks per mantle, these are expensive. Do not let the maid service, cabin prep and cleaning crews, or anyone else which do not know how a gas light operates, try to clean the glass lamp globes. Also, do not allow unpracticed / untrained persons try to light the mantles. Likewise, aggressively go after any moth or flying insect that is buzzing around in the room, as eventually the critter will tear the mantle. Keep a fly swatter and a battery powered bug zapper racket close at hand. I had one Gen Z-er go through $72 in mantles with still no clue how to kindle a Falk Light.
